- Take the Northbound exit onto Minnesota.
- Follow Minnesota (will become 1st Street) to 6th Avenue.
- Take a right on 6th Avenue. The hotel is 10 blocks down on the left.
Getting there: Taxi fare from the airport to the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel and Spa is approximately $15-$20. At the South (domestic) Terminal, the taxi stand is at the ground-transportation area outside baggage claim. At the North (international) Terminal, the stand is directly outside the lobby.
Getting around: Downtown is laid out in a grid. Numbered avenues run east-west. Streets with letter names run north-south, with A Street at the east end. Most downtown destinations are within a 10-block area. People Mover buses serve the city; a stop is across from the hotel. The fare is $1.75 per adult, and weekend service is limited. For city exploration and excursions beyond downtown, rental cars are best. Rental cars are available online.
